About the Journal

SOPHISTICATED: Journal of Islamic Political Thought is published by the Islamic Political Thought Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies, UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi twice a year (June and December) since 2023. Since its establishment, the Tajdid Journal has published periodicals containing scientific articles on political studies that are actual and relevant to current developments.

 

This journal aims to provide a means of ongoing discussion on relevant issues that are included in the focus and scope of the journal, which can be empirically researched, such as political studies, political thought, political Islam, political sociology, political parties, and other relevant studies.

 

In principle, the editorial policy of this journal is to prioritize contributions that are of interest to most readers and serve to raise broader or important issues in the study of political thought
